Log: Check blog stats and Submit blogs to 9 Search Engines

I got busy today with checking my blog stats.  I didn't actually know what to check except for the obvious:  total number of page views, number of feeder listeners, followers, alexa rank if it already shows some signs which today is just too early, :-)

And for the Search Engines submissions this is what I did, and you may follow the same with your blog or website you wish to promote, just replace the "url": http://henri99.blogspot.com/ with your own "url".  The links below will open on a new window or tab, or you can hold down the [ctrl] key and click the link, this will also have the same effect.

And yesterday, I pinged my blogs; should I ping my blogs every time I post new content?  I wonder if there is a free tool that could do just that.



Here's what I did with the Search Engines submissions:

1. Go ahead and click www.reddit.com address in your Internet browser (opens on a new tab or window) and click "Submit a link" button on right side.
   
   • Fill In the "title", mine is:  Things You Might Like Too
   • Fill In the "url" I entered mine as: http://henri99.blogspot.com/
   • Enter symbols which are under the "are you human?" question and click the "submit" button.
2. Then open the www.google.com/addurl address and type your "URL" in the box.
   
   • In the "Comments" enter your title or something, I entered: Things You Might Like Too
   • Enter symbols which are under the word "Optional" and click the "Add URL" button.
3. Next to the bing site.
   
   • Click the www.bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx address and enter symbols on image to the "Characters" box.
   • Then enter your "URL" in the "Type the URL of your homepage" box.
   • Then click the "Submit URL" button.  Voila!
4. Then on to scrubtheweb.com/addurl.html
   
   • Enter your "URL" in the "Submit URL" box
   • Enter your email address in the "Email Address" box. It must be valid email address because you will receive a confirmation email and you will need to confirm your submission from within this email.
5. Next is Yahoo.
   • Open: siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit and click on "Submit a Website or Webpage".
   • Enter your "URL" and click the "Submit URL" button.  That's it.
6. Then submit to: www.entireweb.com/free_submission
   
   • Enter your "URL" in the "URL to add" box
   • Enter your email address in the "Email Address" box.
7. Another popular site is searchsight.com/submit.htm
   
   • Select "Category" and then fill in the "ZIP/Postal Code", "Country", and "Comments" boxes.
   • Enter your "URL" in the "Web Site URL" box and enter your email in the "Email Address" box.
   • Click the "Submit" button.
8. Then Cuil.
   
   • Open: www.cuil.com/info/contact_us/feedback/crawl_me and enter your email address in the "Your Email" box.
   • Enter your "URL" in the "Site URL" box.
   • Click the "Send" button.
9. And then submit to: www.boingboing.net/suggest.html
   
   • Fill in the "Your name", "Your email address" boxes.
   • In the "Title for the item" box enter: Things You Might Like Too
   • Enter your "URL" in the "URL of suggested website" box.
   • In the "Please describe the suggested site" box fill in your website description
     
   • Click the "Send" button.
